The particle size of sandpaper refers to the size of the abrasive particles on its surface, and the finer the particle size, the smaller the wear on the surface. Usually, the finer the particle size of sandpaper, the finer the polishing effect. The particle size of sandpaper is represented by "mesh". The larger the mesh size, the higher the number of abrasive particles per unit area. The smaller the abrasive particles, the finer the sandpaper particle size.

On the contrary, the smaller the number, the larger and rougher the abrasive particles. Common sandpaper particle sizes include 40-50 mesh, 60-100 mesh, 120-220 mesh, etc. Sandpaper with different particle sizes is suitable for different polishing needs. When choosing sandpaper, the appropriate particle size should be selected based on the condition of the surface to be treated.
