FLAP DISC:

The disc is composed of an overlapping coating of the grinding disc and firmly adheres to the backup plate. This design provides a cooler running, longer-lasting disc. As new layers of abrasives are constantly exposed, a very consistent finish is provided over the life of the disc. These discs are especially recommended for high inventory removal of stainless steel and carbon steel. Aluminum and most alloys.
