Emery cloths are available in coarse emery cloth (40 grit), medium emery cloth (80 grit) and fine emery cloth (120 and 150 grit). Use each piece of finer paper in turn to smooth out the scratches on the previous, coarser piece of paper. Eventually, you'll reach a surface with scratches so thin that they're invisible.
The emery cloth is backed by a strong, flexible Jwt cloth that resists tearing. It removes light rust from metal surfaces. Ideal for cleaning and polishing steel and non-ferrous metals. Available in coarse (50 grit), medium (80 grit), and fine (120 and 150 grit).
* Versatile aluminum oxide abrasive roll can be used on metal, wood, and plastic
* Cloth backing is both flexible and durable enough to withstand heavy use
